Qualifications

I have experience of working with clients with a wide range of emotional issues, including relationship difficulties, family breakdown, low self-esteem, adoption, anxiety, depression, anger management and bereavement. I am a qualified Adoption Support Counsellor.  I have been working in the counselling field since 2001: as part of an eating disorders multi-disciplinary team; as a volunteer at Childline and Samaritans; in the NHS and work place counselling; as a university student counsellor; and in private practice. I also work as a supervisor, both privately and at a university.

I would normally see you for weekly 50 minute sessions, either for a fixed time (for example for six or twelve weeks) or for a more open-ended time, depending on what we agree together.

I am a member of BACP and I abide by its Code of Ethics. My work is supervised by a senior practitioner.

My qualifications are:

  • BA (Hons) (1st class) Integrative-Relational Counselling (BACP Accredited)
  • BACP Accreditation
  • Adoption Support Counsellor
  • Advanced Certificate in Integrative Counselling
  • BSc (Hons) (1st class) Psychology
